Staring into the cosmos you begin to notice its simplicity and order but from afar it looks like wonderful burst of pattern and colour, available in two colour ways, any practicing cosmologist will know that the universe is far from just black. Best enjoyed on a wall in gazing distance.
Designed by Artisans & Adventurers, woven by the 'Love with Actions' charity in Rwanda, these table mats provide financial independence for families struggling with disabilities throughout Africa.
ARTISANS & VALUES
Our baskets and light shades have been designed by us and so are exclusive to Artisans & Adventurers. We took inspiration from traditional Rwandan designs, giving them a more graphic, modern twist.
The weavers we work with are all part of a community-based cooperative in Southern Rwanda, working to socially improve their livelihoods and keep the art of weaving alive. Through the sharing of skills, artisans are trained in art and crafts, public health & basic sales or communications techniques to meet the demands of the markets today.

Rwandan place mats are famously robust and versatile.
To clean your Rwandan place mat, simply wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge, remove most of the moisture with a dry towel and leave to air dry naturally.
Avoid placing your Rwandan place mat in direct sunlight as this may cause some of the colours to fade.
