This specialist basket was expertly handwoven in rural Kenya, taking hours and hours to craft. The skills used have been passed down through the generations, continuing cultural crafting methods. Made by Mulli, an inspirational and loving father, and Mulli's team of talented weavers. Our partnership with Mulli ensures a consistent income for his family and his team.

Ethically produced using natural materials and dyes. This versatile basket has an impressive range of uses - from storage to gift baskets, plant pots, toys, décor, and more! The minimalist yet stylish and bohemian design makes it an excellent addition to any room. Pop it in your study to calm the work vibes, or in your lounge to create an earthy living space. It will look great in your bedroom too! You can't go wrong with this limited edition, Kenyan handwoven basket.

Check the sizing to help guide you on where and how to display your new handmade basket. Great for a desk, or better for your laundry? You decide!

Mulli is one of the fantastic artisans we work with in Kenya. He leads the group of weavers who make some of our Kenyan Baskets, as well as our Kenyan Brooms. We have worked with Mulli for over a decade, and his expertise in weaving has been invaluable!

Your basket may arrive folded or slightly out of shape. When this occurs, Kenyan baskets can be easily brought back to life with a quick steam using a steamer or steam setting on your iron. Steam the basket and manually shape. Please be careful as the basket may be hot.

We recommend placing a small dish or saucer in the base of your Kenyan basket when using them as plant pots, this prevents the base from becoming damp and rotten when watering. Ideally we suggest you remove your plants and place in the sink or bath tub when soaking.

To clean your Kenyan basket, simply wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge, remove most of the moisture with a dry towel and leave to air dry naturally.

Avoid placing your Kenyan basket in direct sunlight as this may cause some of the colours to fade.
