COLLECTION | THE HEALING QUALITIES OF OUR SEMI-PRECIOUS STONES

Our latest jewellery collection ‘Fantasy Animals’ is inspired by some of the Earth's most threatened species. Each design is hand carved by us in wax at our London and Margate studios, before being brought to life by our SEDEX certified partner workshop in the Pink City of Jaipur. Most of these pieces contain semi precious stones, so we thought we'd walk you through the amazing properties these stones possess.
Tigers Eye
Our Tiger Sovereign earrings feature beautiful, earthy Tigers Eye stones. The warm, marbled tones of these stones compliment the recycled brass jewellery perfectly, they also have many positive properties. Tigers Eye is considered a stone of protection, that can also bring good luck to the wearer. It's one of the oldest talismans, viewed as an ‘all-seeing, all-knowing eye’ that could grant the wearer mental clarity to observe everything. The ancient Egyptians chose to use Tigers Eye for the eyes of their deity statues to express divine vision. They also believed the stones provided the protection of the sun and the earth combined. The tiger is considered a magical king of beasts in a lot of Eastern mythology, Tigers Eye portrays courage, integrity and moral use of power. Throughout history, it has been highly regarded as a stone of prosperity and good fortune, protecting the wearer’s resources and reflecting back malice from others. Tigers Eye is also believed to have the power to focus the mind, assisting the wearer to resolve problems objectively and unclouded by emotions. It is often used for easing fear and anxiety, promoting calmness and clarity. Tigers Eye balances yin-yang which can help to stabilise emotions, making it perfect for times of emotional unease or stress. Lastly, Tigers Eye promotes harmony between people and soothes tensions in relationships, allowing the wearer to see both sides of an issue and find common ground. So, if you are in need of emotional grounding, clarity, protection and good luck, we recommend wearing Tigers Eye.
Yellow Citrine
Associated with the planet Jupiter, warm and sunny Yellow Citrine stones are set in recycled silver to make our delicate silver Monkey Puzzle jewellery. Traits associated with Citrine are happiness, prosperity, creativity and protection. It is thought to energise and invigorate every aspect of life. It is believed to help cleanse the chakras and provide the wearer with greater intuition. Citrine attracts wealth, prosperity and success and is often considered a good talisman when starting a new job. It helps to impart joy and enthusiasm to the wearer as well as those around them. It is also considered an important stone for raising self-esteem and self-confidence, perfect for when you find yourself in new situations or feel out of your comfort zone. Yellow Citrine also helps to promote motivation, creativity and encourages self-expression, making our Silver Monkey Puzzle jewellery the perfect gift for the creatives in your life. The stone is also considered one of the most powerful for stimulating the brain, strengthening intellect and enhancing concentration.
